Hi, I’m Krystal — a surface pattern designer with a lifelong love for art, crafting, and creating things that feel playful and full of heart. Before pattern design, I spent years exploring creativity through home décor projects, crafting blogs, and digital scrapbooking, always drawn to color, texture, and storytelling through design.
In 2020 I discovered digital illustration while looking for a distraction during lockdown. What started as a creative outlet quickly turned into a passion, and the moment I learned how to create repeating patterns felt like pure magic. In 2021, I launched my design business and began building a growing catalog of original, licensable collections.
I’m a mom of five, and my children are my greatest source of inspiration — influencing the playful, imaginative spirit and storybook feel that runs through my work. My designs are created using Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop, with a focus on artwork that’s both whimsical and production-ready. I value collaboration, clear communication, and being easy to work with, and I love partnering with brands to bring thoughtful and creative designs to life.
